Pioneer DEH-1300MP Great Reviews

January 28th, 2012 by org

Greatest entry-level deck available on the market. First of most, it’s a Pioneer, which automatically means 1. it sounds a lot better than anyone else’s (Kenwood, Alpine, and particularly Sony and Clarion; only JVC arrives close), 2. it can easily play ANY KIND OF CD, even some sloppily burnt off-brand rewritable which has been through nuclear bombings, and 3. it’ll possibly last permanently (I have owned numerous Pioneer patio’s since 2001 with not just one problem).

Even on this bottom-end stripper model you nevertheless get every one of the basics, unlike in years past: MP3 CD playback, a 3-way equalizer, and a good Aux jack for portable players. As an additional benefit, the DEH-1300MP escapes the most common Pioneer drawback of annoying ergonomics: the time clock and exhibit buttons are usually better placed this season, and oahu is the only model in the 2011 selection whose on/off switch could be the volume knob as opposed to some tiny-ass buried button.

From what I will tell, the things missing from Pioneer’s higher-end models is:
-A 24-bit digital-to-analog converter, whatever which is (this kind of one’s will be 12-bit)
-RDS for displaying song/artist info when listening to FM
-A top USB jack (best for charging your Ipod, and immediately controlling iPods)
-A 3. 5mm jack in the back (if you want to buy a good adapter to help keep your tyre controls alive)
-A second pair of preouts
-Custom color display
-HD and/or satellite tv radio
-Extra audio tracks tricks being a 6-band equalizer and high-pass filtration
-Bluetooth
I file all that in the nice-but-not-necessary category.

For the record, the appear isn’t quite as clean as on Pioneer’s increased models… somehow, that last 10% will be missing. I’m not sure which model marks the idea of enhancement (some units in the test area weren’t working that day time), but in either case I’m not really docking virtually any stars cuz the $70 MSRP is indeed modest.

Basically, this terrace has sound sound, a fair price, all crucial features, and simply no real flaws. Hook it up to and including quartet of Infinity loudspeakers and you’ve got the finest car stereo on the block.
